Description

Educators around the world are utilizing social media to maximize personal learning networks, but how else can web 2.0 be used in education? What are the possibilities for social media in k12 classrooms, schools and districts? Through examples at the elementary, secondary and district levels we can consider opportunities and benefits related to social tools and networks, but we won’t stop there. We'll identify important safety and security considerations related to the k12 context. Join this session to identify issues and strategies you’ll need to know about social media for education.
