Mute your iPad's volume.
Lock your iPad's rotation.
Open the Safari app & use the Home button to return to the Home screen
Search your iPad for "Maps", open the Maps app, and use a multi-tasking gesture to return to the home screen.
Create a folder for all of the Photography Apps (Camera, Photos, and Photobooth) and move the folder to a different screen.
Put an app on the dock.
Toggle your iPad's wifi off/on.
Close all of the open apps.
Ask Siri what the for a list of the closest restaurants.
Soft reset of your iPad and turn it back on.

Special characters (e.g., é, å) - hold down the corresponding character
Type two spaces to create a period and space
In mail, hold down the period key to get common email endings like .com
In Safari, there is a .com in the keyboard. Hold down .com to get other common endings
Usually can skip the apostrophe in contractions. Auto-correct will add it.
If auto-correct word suggestion is word you are typing, can hit space to finish word
Click the .?123 & slide to a key to quickly select a key and switch back to ABC view.
